This game was surpose to be a formality and Queens would be the victors,but nobody had let Old Boys
no that.Dougie Smithson Secretary Queens praised the Hunslet players and wished them look in the
Semi Final against Wibsey J.Smithson said his players was not in the right frame of mind when they went on the park.Kevin Bew was over the moon with the way his team took on the Queens players
and said after our League defeat to Queens nobody would have given us a look in. My players did
everything I asked of them and more.This is our chance to make the Yorkshire Cup Final and we will
have every respect for Wibsey J.Ryan Walker gave Queens the lead on 20 minutes with a well taken try under the post for Johnathan Milner to convert 6-0 Five minutes from half time Wayne Rawson
darted in at the side of the post and Danny Lawton converted 6-6 H-T. A penalty from Carl Briggs
early in the second half gave Old Boys a 8-6 lead.Queens then attacked down the right and after the ball had passed through several pair of hands Arron Henry scored in the corner goal missed 10-8
Queens.Chris Thompson then sealed the game for Old Boys when quick thinking saw him run 30 metres under the sticks and Danny Lawton converted 10-14.Inthe next set of six Old Boys took
the ball to the sticks Danny Lawton then dropped a goal to put them into the next round at 10-15 F-T.
