Methley R 18 v 25 Normanton K
This game was a credit to both teams and it wasn't untill the dying minutes that Normanton sealed it Methley scored first with a good try from John Saville who darted under the post Lee Starbuck converted 6-0.Normanton hit stright when Jamie Watts scored and Lee Aspinall converted 6-6.Liam Atkinson then put Normanton in front when he shot under the sticks again Aspinall converted 6-12.Not to be beat Methley came back with a try from Starbuck and Starbuck converted 12-12 H-T.Both teams played good Rugby and it wasn't long befor one scored it was Normanton through Lee Aspinall who converted his own try to take the score to 12-18.Methley hit back with Dave Spear scoring a try and Reece Wilshaw converted 18-18.Time was ticking away when
Liam Atkinson dropped a goal for Normanton to edge in front 18-19.
Both teams went all out for the win and everybody was waiting for
the final whistle.The final twist to this game came with seconds left on the clock when Liam Atkinson scored the last points through his second try and Aspinall converted 18-25 final score.
