Queens 41 v 18 York Acorn
Acorn got of to a great start when Ian Brown darted over the white wash to score a good try which
Kyle Palmer converted to give them a 0-6 lead. This was short lived when James Brown scored for Queens at the side of the sticks for Johnny Milner to convert and level the scores at 6-6.On 14 minutes Milner scored himself and converted to give Queens a 12-6 lead. A penalty from Palmer brought Acorn to with in a try of Queens at 12-8. Ian Brown then put Acorn back in front with his second try in which Palmer converted to give them the lead for the last time in this game as on 34 minutes Robin
Wilks scored for Milner to convert and give Queens a 18-14 H-T lead.The second half kicked of with
Ryan Robinson try on 47 minutes for Queens Milner converted 24-14.Milner then dropped a goal to ease them into a 25-14 score Acorn then scored their last points when Joe Bub scored a good try
kick was missed 25-18. Steve Morton then put the game beyond Acorn with two well taken tries
for Milner to convert both 37-18.With two minutes left winger Ryan Walker went over in the corner
to end the game for Queens at 41-18 F-T.
