Queens 52 v 12 Birstall V
This game was played in good spirit as Queens thanked Birstall for turning up which helped them to
prepare for the games against Hunslet W and whoever they draw in the next round of the National
Cup. Queens went 24-6 up by half time with tries from Steve Rodgers,Sam Parker Omar Alrawi, Scott Huston and Steve Morton with Johnny Milner kicking two goals. Dale Dyson scored for Birstall converted by Mick Dyson to end the scoring in the first half.In the second half Queens ran in five more tries through Ryan Robinson, Craig Boot, Andrew Ali, Simon Cook, and James Brown with Milner
kicking one conversion and James Brown converting three goals. Birstall had Craig Stevens score a good try and Dyson convert to bring a final score of 52-12 to Queens.
