Rugby League are saying all on sundry are talking about Summer Rugby
and what a wonderful chance for teams to air their thought's and move
across to join the already Summer Teams.Well at that meeting on Wednesday night some good points came from the floor in Ron Girvin
from Lancashire expressing his figures on how his League is doing.To
which he was told his figures where worthless.People have just to sit back and weigh things up,and work out the real thoughts behind Summer Rugby.Sport England are wanting Rugby League to increase
its figures before it will release the 29-4 million pounds its giving the Sport.So Rugby League get the people who will say the right things
about summer rugby and a few who will not,but the only thing they are
worried about is the money.Ask yourself how many Amateur Clubs will
receive any of the 29-4 million which they claim for the grass roots.
Remember when the Winter Conferance first started they got buses paid for and Referee's plus the Champions of each League and runner up received a healthy amount of money.After a while it disappeared.
Summer Rugby started and the money now goes to them plus students and anyone but BARLA. You are the people who matter the Clubs that play in good playing Leagues now in Winter. Yes we have had bad Weather this year and have done since Barla began,but the people running those Leagues have always got the games over and its those people who will be gone as well as teams that don't fit the criteria. An old saying goes Better the Devil you know.
