Fryston 10 v 20 Queens

This game was built up as a clash of the Titans,and it didn;t disappoint the good crowd who turned
up to watch.Both teams started off slowly and defence's were on top.Fryston finally opened the scoring on twenty two minutes when Mark Castle scored under the post from a good move down the middle Andy Speake converted 6-0. Ten minutes later forward Scott Huston went in out wide kick
missed 6-4. With half time approaching Simon Cook scored in the corner to take Queens in front for
the first time conversion was missed by Johnathan Milner to leave the score at 6-8 H-T.Second half
was just like the first with both teams tackling like demons and giving no quarter to each other.With ten minutes gone in the second half Kyle Stanley scored for Fryston out wide kick missed lead back to Fryston 10-8. Next score was a penalty from Milner for ball stealing 10-10.Five minutes later Milner slotted over another penalty for offside 10-12.With twelve minutes to go Milner kicked through for position up field and the ball bounced kindly for Omar Alrawi who caught the ball to score in the corner.
10-16. Fryston then had a good spell in which they were just held short by a strong Queens defence
Time was running out and Queens were hanging on until Steve Morton went in with five minutes left
and brought the game to an end and leave the final score at 10-20 to Queens.Roll on the top fours.
